Hello, and thanks for visiting my website! I am a young geographer with a passion for exploration, visual storytelling, and place-based education. As a cartographer and conservationist, I am particularly interested in how maps can be used as tools to empower and propel modern conservation projects.
Since graduating from Middlebury College in 2011, I have been interning as a cartographer at National Geographic Maps and National Geographic Magazine, doing freelance cartography, and building a conservation mapping program in Costa Rica.
I recently received a National Geographic Young Explorers grant for my upcoming mapping expedition in Patagonia National Park in the Aysén region of Chile. Check back soon for more about the project.
I welcome questions, critiques, and freelance work, so don’t hesitate to get in touch – I’d love to hear from you!
